Free travel with a Ukrainian passport in the Waltti region

Many cities in the Waltti region have introduced temporary travel policies regarding the right to travel with a Ukrainian passport. In this way, cities want to show their support for Ukrainians who have left their homes due to the war and make it easier for them to move around urban areas.

A valid Ukrainian passport is shown to the driver when boarding the bus and the passenger does not need a separate ticket. You can also travel with a passport certificate issued by the police, the border control authority or the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri). The certificate shall bear a stamp and a photograph of the passport issued by the authority.
