Create an account and sign in to use the service. You can also use the service without registering. In this case, your purchasing history will be recorded in the app, but you will be unable to check your history on other devices, a new device, or online. You can also decide to register later on.
You can pay for the ticket by adding a payment card (Visa/Visa Electron or Mastercard), for which online payment has been enabled.
You can buy a single ticket or day ticket and load it onto your phone. A single ticket is valid for 1.5h from the moment of purchase and can be used to travel an unlimited number of journeys within the validity zones. A day ticket is valid for 24h from the moment of purchase and it too can be used to travel an unlimited number of journeys within the validity zones. Once the ticket expires, you can finish the journey you are on, but changes are no longer permitted.
The ticket should be placed on the bus card reader for every journey. Mobile tickets are shown to the QR code reader on the lower part of new travel card reader models. If the bus does not yet have a newer card reader, the driver will inspect your ticket.
The Nysse Mobile app also shows your valid and expired tickets, purchasing history, and receipts. The app also allows you to use the journey planner.
